Only a few weeks following a final table finish in the Aussie Millions Main event, Florida’s Randy Dorfman appears to be on a hot streak.

Dorfman, made the chip lead into the final table at the Aussie Millions but could finish no better than 5th for AUD $325,000, got over the Thursday, winning the $5,100 NLHE side event at the L.A. Poker Classic.

The final table included renowned pros Shannon Shorr, Nick Binger and Jon Turner, but Dorfman bested them all to beat respected French pro Nicholas Levi heads-up and amassed the $163,270 first-place prize.
